Bring Mindfulness to Your Work and Your Life
Many of the retreats, courses and workshops we offer at Copper Beech Institute develop knowledge and skills that nurses, counselors, social workers, psychologists, therapists, coaches and other professionals can apply directly to their work. These skills can help you respond to situations with greater compassion, resilience and equanimity. Several of our programs are also eligible for Continuing Education Credits (CECs) through our partnership with the National Association of Social Workers. For a $20 flat fee, CECs can be awarded to professionals who attend the specific programs listed below.

Day Retreat with Vamsi Koneru
Friday, April 12, 2019, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In this highly experiential workshop, explore how mindfulness can alter the structure and function of the brain, leading to enhanced understanding of ourselves and our world.

Overnight Retreat with Susan Woods and Carl Fulwiler
April 26-28, 2019
Explore basic skills from Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and learn how you can become more resilient when faced with adversity, trauma and difficult emotions.
*CECs cost a flat fee of $20 and may be registered for at the time of retreat registration. CEC certificates are mailed the week following the retreat.
