Overnight Retreat with Sandrine Harris
Coming home to yourself is a process of daily awakening. In this two-day retreat, you are invited on a journey to deepen your self-understanding, self-care, compassion and happiness. With the practices of meditative movement, breathwork, and mindfulness meditation, we access the innate wisdom of the body to discover the path of awareness. Awareness cultivates the gifts of living in the present moment. Embodied practice invites us to draw our attention to habits and patterns of being — including reactivity, feelings of overwhelm, and fearfulness. Through guided explorations, we will learn about transforming these challenges, as well as honoring them. When we awaken to the present moment, fully and with self-compassion, we begin to transform difficulty into learning.
Throughout this retreat, we'll go deep into the process of unfolding presence within ourselves, and in the understanding that we are always connected to others. To observe our minds with kind attention and outside of judgment, we will build the shape of heartfulness. Presence is a potent path to clarity in mind and body, and with supported self-care, we'll walk this path to heartful awakening, together.
Come and enrich your practice of presence through awareness and discovery, unfolding the deepest layers of self-acceptance, choice, kindness and connection. No experience with movement or meditation is needed, and all are welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing to move in, and please bring a journal and pen.
Tuition is $250 plus accomodations. The retreat begins Tuesday, October 10 at 5 p.m. with an all-levels yoga class and concludes around 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 12.
