Organizational health is about creating a work environment where people are happy, healthy, resilient, and productive. It’s about cultivating a culture of genuine caring that values people for who they are and not only for what they do. This in turn inspires greater loyalty and increased organizational creativity and productivity.

Mindfulness is a practice that can improve workplace functions, focus, and how employees work together. It will change the way you will run your business.

Staff Retreats

A staff retreat day integrated into the regular work life of an organization can be a source of great renewal and reinvigoration. Spending time with coworkers in a way that is fun, relaxed, and reflective can be nourishing as well as productive.

At Copper Beech Institute, we believe that the dedication to pausing on an organizational level can lead to a transformative and creative re-orientation toward work, mission, community, and how we see ourselves in the world. We look forward to working with you and the unique needs of your staff to create an experience that is supportive and engaging.

Weekend Retreats

Through the generosity of the Hemera and Aetna Foundations, Copper Beech Institute makes full and partial funding available for healthcare and nonprofit professionals, educators, and artists to attend select weekend retreats. These contemplative fellowships support training at a weekend retreat in which individuals can cultivate mindfulness, compassion, personal wellbeing, and professional efficacy – qualities that can extend into their professional lives and improve workplace culture.

Mindfulness Consultation

Copper Beech Institute also works with leaders who would like to integrate mindfulness into workplace culture and individual lives. We can help to coach individuals, develop mindfulness-based programs for your organization and create a strategy to cultivate a culture of mindfulness in the workplace.

Bring the world-renowned mindfulness course to your workplace. Since its inception, more than 20,000 people have completed the eight-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course and learned how to use their innate resources and abilities to respond more effectively to stress, pain, and illness.

The central focus of the course is intensive training in mindfulness meditation and its integration into the challenges and adventures of everyday life. Two decades of published research indicates that the majority of people who complete the course report benefits that range from lasting decreases in physical and psychological symptoms to greater resilience, improved self-esteem, and the ability to cope more effectively with both short and long-term stressful situations.
