Join us as we discover how mindful eating can liberate us from our struggle with food and body weight, helping us learn to trust our bodies in the process.
We all know diets don’t work. Perhaps they provide immediate loss, but in the long run we end up heavier and more discouraged. This workshop, which is based on new research out of Duke University, will teach you how to:
- Interrupt the stress/ eating cycle
- Bring mindful self-compassion to replace the inner critic
- Trust your body and eat when there is true hunger
- Find other ways to nourish yourself
The format will include both mini-lecture, group sharing, guided meditation, mindful eating, and written reflection and sharing.

January marks the completion of my first 90 days as the new Executive Director of Copper Beech Institute and I couldn't be more grateful for the warm welcome of this community that is made up of our board, staff, facilitators and participants. Each of you in your own particular way help to make Copper Beech what it is, and helped to get CBI to it's current moment of evolution. With that said, I am excited to share that many inspired changes are afoot! ✨
