Workshop with Angela Mazur & Theresa Nygren
June 20, 2020 10:00 AM - June 20, 2020 02:00 PM

IDEAL FOR: All levels including beginners.

Come step away from the busyness of your life and join us as we discover the transformative nature of mindfulness combined with self-compassion. Research shows that seventy percent of the population is kinder to their friends than they are to themselves. Let us teach you how to befriend yourself using Mindful Self-Compassion, which can help you reduce anxiety, depression, rumination, and shame while bolstering positive states of optimism, life satisfaction, and happiness.

Based on the work of Chris Gerner, Ph.D. and Kristin Neff, Ph.D., this experiential workshop will include:

- A foundational overview of Mindful Self-Compassion and how to be less critical of yourself

- Ample opportunity to participate in formal and informal mindful self-compassion practices

Reflection, both written and verbal, within small groups and in the larger circle

Tuition: $95, includes lunch
