With Gratitude — Sunset Closing Circle Recording & Resources 🧡

Updated: Oct 6

Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for joining us — whether in person or in spirit — for Copper Beech Institute’s Closing Circle on July 9th. It was truly moving to witness and listen to the heartfelt stories, memories, and reflections shared about how Copper Beech has touched so many lives. We felt deeply honored that so many of you showed up to mark this moment with us, and we know many of you would have been with us if you had been able to attend.

For those we missed, and for those who would like to revisit the gathering, we’re sharing the following linked resources:

The closing circle was held on Zoom and lasted over an hour and a half. If you watch the recording, you will enjoy both the slideshow and the founder Dr. Brandon Nappi’s farewell included within. If you have less time, you might wish to go right to the slideshow and/or farewell message linked above. Finally, although for the slideshow, we selected photos to represent the arc of Copper Beech, for those of us involved, there are so many cherished experiences that we wanted to offer a larger selection of images to explore and preserve.

We hope these offerings allow you to carry forward some of the spirit and community that Copper Beech fostered over the years, as well as reflect on fond memories.

As a reminder, Anne Marie will be working a limited schedule through the end of September as we complete the final steps in officially closing operations. Due to a generous donation from a sister organization, that is also closing, Danae will be working a limited schedule through early September. If you need to reach us for any reason, please feel free to email us, and remember to stay in touch in all the other ways this tech savvy world offers.

Thank you again for being part of the Copper Beech community. It has truly been a gift to share this journey with all of you.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Since 2012, Copper Beech Institute has offered space for reflection, connection, and transformation through mindfulness practice. In 2022, we deepened our compassionate action, dedicating ourselves more specifically to healing racial injustice and creating a greater sense of belonging for people of color in our programming.

In 2025, due to funding challenges, we reached a point of completion—the sunset of our organization. While Copper Beech is closing, the work of racial justice and mindfulness continues. This moment brings many emotions, yet it also offers us the opportunity to honor all that has been, and to close this chapter with the same love and intention with which it began while applying our efforts beyond the bounds of the institute.

We invite you to visit our blog to witness the impact of our last two years and beyond, and to explore our website as a reflection of all we offered. Final programming for Copper Beech Institute ceased in June 2025, and the office officially closed as of October 2025.
