Marcie Swift, M.Ed., CMP is a certified school psychologist with over 35 years of experience in private practice, specializing in integrated modalities that foster positive growth in individuals, families and schools. Her life’s work has been dedicated to working systemically to help individuals maximize their true potential.  Founder and Director of The Swift Center for Learning, LLC, she was the consulting psychologist at many public and private schools including Renbrook, The Gunnery, and Watkinson.  A former adjunct professor in clinical psychology at the University of Hartford, she combines her training in family systems, psychology and therapeutic music along with a variety of other individualized, creative interventions.

 In 2002, Marcie earned her certification as a Music Practitioner of the Harp through MHTP. Thus she integrates two of her greatest passions, psychology and music into her work. She uses her harp therapeutically at several retreat centers, assisted living centers, hospice centers and hospitals.  A composer and performer, she has released two CD’s: Thread of Life, in 2010 and The Heart is True, in 2019, created with her husband, Gordon Swift.  As the duo Fiddle & Harp, Gordon and Marcie perform Celtic and American tunes in concert, and for libraries, weddings, places of worship, funerals, receptions and other occasions.
