Mindfulness Non-Profit Volunteer Opportunities Jobs

Volunteer at Copper Beech

At Copper Beech, we thrive thanks to the compassionate actions of our dedicated volunteers. These generous individuals help create a vibrant community filled with wisdom, openness, mindfulness, and cultural competence. Volunteering is one of the most selfless acts we can engage in, and it is the backbone of nonprofits worldwide, enabling them to fulfill their missions and make a profound impact.

When you offer your time and talent as a volunteer, you open yourself up to countless rewards, such as:

  • A sense of purpose

  • Valuable experience

  • Increased confidence

  • Improved health

  • Building a new community

  • Making lasting friendships

  • Expanding your network

  • Reducing loneliness

  • Teaching your skills to others

  • Boosted happiness

  • Physical activity

  • And so much more

In the words of American minister and activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., “Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”

We offer various opportunities for you to contribute, including:

- Program support

- Administrative support

- Community representation at tabling events

- Board of Directors

- Serving on our Annual Harvest Celebration and Sponsorship Committees

- And more

If you’re interested in joining our community of volunteers, please complete our Volunteer Form. We will review your application and reach out with an invitation to volunteer training and orientation when your application is approved, typically within 1 month of submission.

If you’d like to serve on our Board of Directors, please nominate yourself by completing our Board of Directors Nomination form.  Note: If your application is selected as a potential candidate, you will be contacted by the Board Chair for an interview. These interviews take place on a rolling basis and a new slate of candidates is voted into the board annually.
