IDEAL FOR: All levels
Throughout this half-day retreat you will explore practices to integrate both your light and your shadow, allowing you to reclaim feelings of safety, pleasure, empowerment, forgiveness, and love. ❤️ A recording will be available for all those who are unable to attend live.
The shadow is the part of ourselves that we repress or do not like. Life is complex and our lived experiences can leave us with big feelings that are too much to handle, so we push them away. Our energy and life force gets trapped in our efforts to keep our shadow under wraps. Our job is to reclaim our shadow, bring it to the surface, understand, and integrate it so that we can heal ourselves and our relationships. When we actively work to befriend our shadow, there is a sense of relief, and a flood of energy can be unleashed. As we embrace our shadow we can lean into its wisdom and turn our pain into gold.
During this half day retreat, you will:
- Enjoy a heartfelt Dharma talk and conversation to better understand your shadow
- Experience a morning ritual to help you befriend your shadow—including invocation, breathwork, meditation, journaling, and mantras
- Drop into deep inquiry to integrate both your light and shadow, and remember who you are and why you are here
- Experience Yin and Vinyasa practice. All levels welcome.
- Engage in meaningful conversation with a like-minded community
- Explore your shadow self through alone time, self-reflection, and journaling
- End the retreat with a beautiful closing ritual.
A recording will be available for all those who are unable to attend live.

On April 24th, on behalf of CBI, I attended the United Way of Great Waterbury’s 37th Celebration and Awards. Picture this: a room buzzing with anticipation, pulsating with the spirit of achievement and unity. And let me tell you, folks, it was a night to remember, dedicated to honoring the incredible power of philanthropy and community partnership.
