IDEAL FOR: All levels
We tend to live with the illusion that we can control and predict the narrative of our lives. The perfect job, forever relationships, good health, and we’ll be set for life. The reality is that along life’s continuum, we will all face dozens of disruptors, perhaps daily, requiring a transition that places us in the middle space between expectations and outcomes. In our time together, we will examine a tool kit of strategies to reorient our lives with a clearer understand of the purpose and value of transitions. We will tap into the research and personal experiences that explain how people and organizations successfully navigate the “space in between”.
Together, we will explore:
- The reality of the non-linear life
- Habits: why we get stuck
- Cognitive dissonance
Surviving the downturns:
- Self-care
- Mindfulness: present moment awareness
- Meditations to help with stress
- Working with strong emotions
- Unpacking success stories
- Benchmarks along the transition process
- Strategies for successful transitions
-Re-imaging and rebuilding a next-steps plan

On April 24th, on behalf of CBI, I attended the United Way of Great Waterbury’s 37th Celebration and Awards. Picture this: a room buzzing with anticipation, pulsating with the spirit of achievement and unity. And let me tell you, folks, it was a night to remember, dedicated to honoring the incredible power of philanthropy and community partnership.
